When the owner of MaidThis Cleaning of Tampa brought me on in November 2024, the challenge wasn't demand, it was converting that demand and keeping operations running smoothly.
Warm inbound leads were coming in, but someone needed to own the booking process end to end and keep cleaners and clients in sync. That became my role: the single point of contact for both sides. I booked residential cleaning appointments from inbound leads, made outbound cold calls everyday, coordinated schedules between cleaners and clients, and made sure every job landed smoothly.
Over the partnership, weekly residential bookings have roughly doubled, driven by consistent outbound follow-up, fast lead response, and pricing negotiation on the leads that came in.
The role quickly grew beyond booking residential jobs.
Airbnb turnover leads came in through inbound channels, but the pricing was never fixed, so I owned those negotiations directly, using my own judgment to land each deal at the right rate rather than leaving money on the table.
I also brought in a commercial cleaning client:  a higher-value segment than residential  and drafted a commercial rate calculator so that work could be priced consistently and quoted fast.
And when I spotted areas the company wasn't yet serving:  Bradenton, Sarasota, Ruskin, and Davenport, I ran outreach to recruit Portuguese and Spanish quality cleaners into those markets, helping MaidThis extend its reach into territory it had been missing.

How I run it

Acting as the single point of contact for MaidThis, I took ownership of the day-to-day engine that keeps bookings and operations running:

  • booking residential cleaning jobs from inbound leads
  • coordinating schedules between cleaners and clients
  • following up on leads that didn't close on the spot and closing them
  • negotiating pricing on inbound Airbnb turnover jobs
  • handling client complaints and day-to-day logistics

Once one person owned the whole process end to end, things ran smoothly. Leads got faster responses. Fewer jobs slipped through the cracks. Bookings grew.
